The power you: Want, Hate, Deserve | General | Forum

Kind of a variation on Marry, Screw, Kill; but for nerds who are into superhero fiction.
Assume you've been hit by the wild card virus or something, and survive. What powers do you get? Try to keep things within the limitations set by most litCape stuff. A single ability with multiple applications rather than: "Hi, I'm popular everything guy, and this is the power of plot convenience that I've pulled out of thin air today!"
So what power do you:
WANT - Most desperately want in your deepest heart of hearts. Like you fantasize about having that power at least every other day.
HATE - The power you'll expect to get, because life isn't fair goddammit. Make it a legit power that some other people would be envious of, but you totally wouldn't want it.
DESERVE - The power that the people closest to you think you should or would get.

I'll start:
WANT - Teleportation. Doesn't even have to be as good as mister transport.
HATE - Healing. I'm a private person, so to have a popular and loved power would be annoying. Worse still if it's really GOOD healing. Because I'd never be left alone, but I'd feel compelled to use it to help people even if it made me miserable.
DESERVE - Plant or Animal manipulation. I was a combination of nerdy, athletic, and outdoorsy that had other kids in school calling me 'tree boy'.
